Perform rough and finish carpentry for commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring safety practices and accurate estimation of time and materials. This role involves new construction and renovation work across various market sectors including industrial, office, hospitality, and retail.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry in the alteration and construction of buildings and specialty wood items
- Perform new and remodel concrete and wood construction
- Use and maintain the tools and equipment associated with carpentry work
- Ensure safety practices are followed on job sites
- Estimate time and materials needed for carpentry related jobs
- Visualize, sketch, and design wood projects
- Read and interpret blueprints
Requirements
- 1-3 years of performing rough and finish carpentry
- Ability to perform new and remodel concrete and wood construction
- Ability to use and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety practices on job sites
- Ability to estimate time and materials for carpentry jobs
- Ability to visualize, sketch, and design wood projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
