Coach/Operations Manager Trainee

About This Role

Lead and develop teams, manage store operations, drive financial performance, and ensure customer service standards in a retail environment. Oversee job-related activities and provide development opportunities for hourly associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
• Communicate and collaborate regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, and merchandising
• Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards
• Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring resolution of customer needs and complaints
• Drive financial performance and sales of designated store area by evaluating P&L statements and managing budgeting
• Monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes
• Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support company mission, values, and ethics

Requirements

• 2 years of college
• OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
• OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
