About This Role

This role involves coaching Track & Field as an Assistant Coach at Springbrook High School for Montgomery County Public Schools. The coach will be responsible for providing athletic guidance and support to students for one season.

Responsibilities

Be interviewed and hired by the principal or designee for the coaching vacancy
Coach for one season
Meet qualification criteria as an MCPS teacher/certified educator, or as an Emergency Coach Level I or Level II

Requirements

Must be qualified to coach
Complete or be enrolled in the MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED"
Complete and submit the on-line MCPS Application
Be at least 21 years of age (for Level II Emergency Coach)
