About This Role

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) will provide routine daily nursing care to residents and patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and hygiene. This role supports healthcare efforts in Ohio, focusing on quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident and patient care in accordance with nursing procedures and Charge Nurse instructions
• Ensure the Plan of Care is maintained for each resident or patient
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including personal hygiene, elimination, ambulation, and skin care
• Assist with the care of dying residents and provide post-mortem care
• Observe and report pressure areas and skin breakdown to the Charge Nurse
• Assist with the application of nursing treatments as required
• Provide daily rehabilitative/restorative procedures as required
• Maintain a warm, personal, and calm environment within the unit
• Answer resident calls promptly
• Measure and record entries in the electronic medical record (EMR), such as ADL coding, intake/output, temperatures, and weight

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
