Cloud Network Engineer

About This Role

Implement and troubleshoot cloud networking solutions with a focus on Equinix, Palo Alto firewalls, and Azure advanced networking for a contract role.

Responsibilities

• Build out Equinix Fabric for network edge to CSP and BYOC with BGP service provider skillsets
• Deploy Equinix Fabric underlay logical resources and overlay virtual devices
• Build and troubleshoot Palo Alto VM/NVA firewalls (active/active, active/passive)
• Configure and support Palo Alto PRISMA
• Configure and support Imperva WAF for ABP, ATO, CWAF, policy creation, DDoS mitigation tuning, site onboarding, custom certificate management, and CDN
• Build Azure Advanced Networking IaaS components (VNet, UDR, NSG, ILB, DNS, NVAs, ExpressRoute/BGP propagation, global peering)
• Build and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst WAN Edge Routers
• Utilize DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate and orchestrate third-party tools as PaaS/SaaS

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building out Equinix Fabric
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM/NVA firewalls
• Experience with Palo Alto PRISMA
• Experience with Imperva WAF configuration and support
• Hands-on IaaS build experience with Azure Advanced Networking
• Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst WAN Edge Routers
• General cloud knowledge including DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with third-party integration/orchestration tools (PaaS/SaaS)
