Cloud Data Architect

About This Role

This Cloud Data Architect role involves driving solution architecture design, evaluating and selecting technologies, and contributing to business cases within the Data & Analytics domain. It requires partnering with business and technology stakeholders to shape strategies and convert them into aligned architectures, while also focusing on financial targets and large Data and Analytics opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with various client stakeholders on architecture proposition and roadmap
• Design and implement large scale enterprise data architectures leveraging commercial and open source technologies
• Demonstrate knowledge of various data architecture patterns
• Apply strong cloud architecture expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP) with 2-3 years of project experience
• Implement solutions in platform engineering and developer experience
• Perform data modeling and architecting including data warehousing, data normalization, dimensional modeling, and data vault
• Work with data platforms such as Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalogue), Snowflake, FiveTran, and dbt
• Lead transformation efforts for large opportunities by building strategy and multi-year transformation roadmaps for customers
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Provide presales support for large deals, driving TCS positioning with customers
• Develop Points of View, solution approaches, and pitches for new opportunities
• Define Data and Technology Architecture and patterns on-premise, hybrid, or cloud environments
• Drive and participate in architecture reviews both internally and with client teams
• Oversee data management, warehousing, integration, data movement, and delivery
• Examine data, processes, and technologies to determine current state and critical problems of customer's data and analytics journey
• Research and make recommendations for training, equipment, and technology to improve data use
• Connect with Client's Senior Leadership to develop Data and Analytics Strategy and Architecture

Requirements

• Strong experience in Cloud Data Architecture and Roadmap
• Strong experience in Solution Architecture (Data & Analytics)
• Prior experience building large scale enterprise data architectures using commercial and/or open source Data Analytics technologies
• Knowledge of data architecture patterns
• Strong cloud architecture expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP) with minimum 2-3 years experience
• Strong solution implementation experience (platform engineering, developer experience)
• Data modelling and architecting skills
• Demonstrated experience across different data platforms such as Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalogue), Snowflake, FiveTran, dbt, Data Virtualization tools
• Demonstrated experience in Big Data, data warehouse, data analytics projects, and/or any Information Management related projects
• Experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, MDM and Data Modeling (Data Products, Data Mesh, Data vault)
• Prior experience in Banking Financial and Insurance

Qualifications

• BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in cloud projects, strong experience in cloud data architecture and roadmap, prior experience building large scale enterprise data architectures.
