About This Role

Supervise and coordinate professional and supportive services for hospice patients, ensuring safe and cost-effective care. Provide education and training to the care team and orient new employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the coordination, supervision, and implementation of professional and supportive services for hospice patients in a safe, cost-effective manner
  • Oversee the care team and provide education and training related to clinical practice, regulation, and reimbursement changes
  • Help orient new employees
  • Serve as a key member of the care team to ensure every patient receives the highest quality care

Requirements

  • Current state license as a registered nurse
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience as a registered nurse in an appropriate clinical care setting, home health, or hospice environment (preferred)
