This position supports clinical staff in the Emergency Room for the advancement of clinical practice and professional development, utilizing innovative education planning and programming. The role demonstrates expertise in clinical practice, collaborates with clinical administrative disciplines for new programs and service improvement, and demonstrates leadership through role modeling and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical staff in an area of specialization for the advancement of clinical practice and professional development
- Utilize innovative education planning and programming
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice
- Collaborate and consult with clinical administrative disciplines for new programs and service improvement
- Demonstrate leadership through role modeling and mentoring
- Utilize research principles to facilitate and promote evidence-based practice
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 2 years of clinical or teaching experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification based on area of specialty
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Nursing, BSN
- 2 years of clinical or teaching experience
Nice to Have
- Certification in area of specialty or obtained within 2 years of hire
