The Clinical Partner (CP) provides essential technical nursing skills and delegated tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse, working collaboratively to deliver safe and quality patient-centered care. This role is crucial in supporting the nursing team in accordance with Florida Nurse Practice Act and BHSF policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent)
- Perform delegated tasks such as wound care
- Perform delegated tasks such as discontinuing a saline lock
- Perform delegated tasks such as discontinuing a Foley catheter
- Work under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse
- Collaborate with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CNA or LPN license required
- Basic Life Support certification
Qualifications
- High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
Nice to Have
- 1 year experience preferred
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in the state of Florida
