Clinical Nutrition Manager

About This Role

Manage clinical nutrition services at Edmond Medical Center, including monthly reporting, intern precepting, and inpatient/outpatient care. This role involves supporting Food Service training and meal service programming, and offers opportunities for career growth within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for monthly reporting
• Precept dietetic interns
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care
• Support Food Service training and meal service programming
• Cover rotating weekends and holidays
• Creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision
• Manage Registered Dietitian (RD) on staff
• Perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations
• Regularly support Healthtouch programming
• Coordinate intern experiences

Requirements

• Ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and use good judgment to make decisions and work within a self-directed team-oriented work environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Effective written and verbal communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities
• Great education and training skills to provide nutrition information to a wide variety of audiences

Qualifications

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND (for those eligible for the registration exam after 1/1/24) OR Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND (for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24)
