Clinic RN - Rheumatology Clinic

About This Role

Serve as a Clinic Registered Nurse in the Rheumatology Clinic, administering intravenous medications in an outpatient setting and applying the nursing process to patient care. This role involves independent administration of IV medications, patient assessment, and coordination within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous medications independently in an outpatient setting
• Apply the nursing process in direct patient care
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings
• Perform intravenous access and maintenance
• Administer medications
• Conduct patient assessments and care planning
• Manage medical equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
• 18 months professional nursing experience (for Clinic RN)

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 18 months professional nursing experience for Clinic RN, related experience in an ambulatory setting preferred for Associate Clinic RN

Nice to Have

• Related experience in an ambulatory setting, preferably in a medical office (for Associate Clinic RN)
