Client Operations Analyst

About This Role

This Client Operations Analyst role supports middle-office loan and brokerage operations, providing critical client service, transaction processing, and analytical support. The position handles high-volume transactional activity, resolves discrepancies, and contributes to timely issue resolution across internal teams. It offers hands-on exposure to asset servicing and middle-office operations with structured on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine client service and transactional support functions within a daily operations environment
• Read notices and external documents, reconcile data discrepancies related to rates, maturities, and payments
• Escalate issues appropriately
• Support analytics and reporting needs while contributing to improvements and automation of transaction processing systems
• Liaise with internal teams, including Corporate Actions
• Support assigned portfolios from onboarding through maturity
• Interact with issuers and brokers and manage a high-volume ticket queue (approximately 800–1,000 items)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and execute work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in brokerage processing
• Prior loan operations or middle-office experience within financial services
• Exposure to corporate or public finance, treasury services, or asset servicing
• Experience working in high-volume, ticket-driven operational environments
• Corporate banking experience
• Macros in Excel
