Charge Nurse (RN)

About This Role

PAM Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care and provide leadership within the clinical setting. This role involves maintaining nursing practice standards and serving as a clinical resource for staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care
• Provide leadership by collaborating with medical, ancillary, and support staff
• Maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Serve as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff

Requirements

• RN License in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS is required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required. 2 years of experience in direct patient care preferred.

Nice to Have

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
