CFS Agent

About This Role

This role involves ensuring smooth operations within a Container Freight Station (CFS) environment, managing logistics documentation, and coordinating cargo handling while providing exceptional customer service. The CFS Agent will process orders, manage paperwork, and schedule pick-up/delivery appointments to optimize logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to Container Freight Station operations
• Process and track customer orders with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient handling and delivery of cargo
• Manage essential paperwork including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation in compliance with regulations
• Schedule and oversee pick-up and delivery appointments to optimize logistics processes
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records within company systems and databases
• Operate multi-line phone systems to assist clients and support internal communication
• Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and industry standards
• Collaborate with team members to implement solutions and improve overall efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding
