About This Role

Provide essential personal hygiene and daily living assistance to elderly patients in a memory care setting, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompanies them to do so successfully
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Frequent lifting and moving, with the physical capability to lift, move, and transfer 50lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
