CDL Driver - Rear Load

About This Role

Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to provide prompt and complete collection services for a waste management company.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre/post-operation vehicle checks in line with FCC regulations
• Safely operate commercial vehicles on allocated routes (roads, residential areas, alleys)
• Manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with safety regulations
• Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers
• Continuously monitor vehicle status to ensure operational readiness
• Complete necessary paperwork and other reports accurately
• Maintain departmental productivity standards
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements

• Class B commercial driver’s license
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects
• Meet Department of Transportation regulations
• Clearinghouse profile required
• Pass substance abuse testing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Garbage/Recycling experience
