As a Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for pulling van trailers or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations, returning home daily. This role contributes to the efficient transportation and distribution of freight.
Responsibilities
- Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations
- Ensure safe operation of equipment at all times
- Pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
- Complete a successful road test
Requirements
- CDL Class A
- 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years
- Age 23, or 21 if successfully met FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
- Able to operate equipment safely at all times
- Able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
- Able to complete a successful road test
- Able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Dependable
Qualifications
- 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
Nice to Have
- Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
- Experienced hauling Haz-mat
- Experienced pulling doubles
- Any LTL freight experience
