About This Role

This role is a part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker position at Jacksonville State University, responsible for operating cash registers, handling transactions, and assisting with food service operations. The position aims to provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and complete transactions with a customer-first approach
• Work in the food service operation, handling cash and credit transactions from Sodexo and client customers
• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables
• Provide support to the retail operation, including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting in cleanup and closedown
• Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
