This Care Partner role provides essential patient and administrative support to the Nursing staff on the Duque medical/surgical unit at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The unit cares for a diverse patient population including NICCU graduates and those with respiratory, neurological, and behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient support to Nursing staff
- Provide administrative support to Nursing staff
Requirements
- Able to write, speak fluently and understand English
- High School graduate or GED
- Current American Heart Association BLS
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED required
- 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
Nice to Have
- 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Completion of pediatric rotation for nursing students
