Pediatrix is seeking an experienced and visionary CICU Medical Director to lead and shape an expanding pediatric cardiac intensive care program within the newly launched Mary Bridge Heart Center. This role involves partnering with cardiac surgery, cardiology, and ICU teams to build a thriving pediatric cardiac service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Medical Director for Cardiac Intensive Care
- Guide a program in high-growth mode
- Partner with cardiac surgery, cardiology, and ICU teams to build a thriving pediatric cardiac service
Requirements
- Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care
- Significant Clinical experience with expertise in caring for children with complex congenital heart disease
Qualifications
- Significant Clinical experience, with expertise in caring for children with complex congenital heart disease.
Nice to Have
- Additional formal CICU or cardiology training
- Leadership experience highly valued
- Passion for team-building, quality improvement, and advancing a growing cardiac program
