Campus Supervisor Elementary

About This Role

Supervise students on campus at elementary school sites, including parking lots, activity areas, and during bus loading. The role involves patrolling areas to prevent issues like smoking and vandalism, and generally assisting assistant principals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and patrol student parking lots, controlling car speed, loitering, unauthorized vehicles, and proper parking
• Patrol areas such as auditoriums, gyms, locker rooms, and restrooms to prevent smoking and vandalism
• Assist in supervising student activity areas and library during lunch periods
• Assist in general campus supervision as directed by the assistant principal
• Assist in afternoon bus loading as needed

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and students
• Skill in motivating, encouraging, and assisting students
• Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
• Meet mental requirements for this position
• Meet physical characteristics in compliance with American with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Qualifications

• Completion of twelfth grade is desirable
• Experience with students is desirable
