About This Role

Join a growing team as a Field Calibration Technician, responsible for testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting various test and measurement instruments at customer sites. Ensure accuracy, reliability, and conformance to industry standards while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
  • Work directly with the client throughout the calibration process, from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including communicating updates on services needed
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
  • Clean driving record

Qualifications

  • Entry level position, 0 years of experience required. 2 years of related experience is a nice-to-have.

Nice to Have

  • At least two years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
  • Technical Degree or Certificate
  • Military PMEL Training
  • Metrology experience
  • Experience with IndySoft
