About This Role

This role involves handling all monetary transactions within casino operations, including cage cashiering, chip bank, marker bank, and poker bank functions. The Cage Cashier ensures efficient and accurate processing of cash and chip exchanges for guests, maintains accountability of company funds, and assists with poker room operations and Players Club services.

Responsibilities

• Handle all monetary transactions within daily Cage Operations functions, including cashiering, chip bank, marker bank, poker bank, ES cashiering and impressment cashiering
• Distribute monies to guests via Slot Ticket redemption, chip redemption, and check cashing
• Process monetary transactions for other departments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Secure the integrity of assigned assets and maintain accountability of company funds in accordance with Internal Controls and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations
• Assist in managing traffic flow in and out of poker games and registering players into computerized seating program
• Perform duties as a Chip Bank cashier, including processing chip transfers and issuing table game fills
• Perform duties as Marker Banker, managing inventory of markers, front money, safekeeping, and returned checks
• Replenish currency and coin for Ticket Redemption Units (TRU) and monitor levels for timely service
• Process large amounts of currency for daily impressments of TRUs and coordinate daily/month-end TRU close processes
• Operate as a sports writer in the on-site Sportsbook, inputting bets, printing tickets, and reconciling transactions
• Interact with guests, encouraging Players Club and Choice Card membership, processing applications, and assisting with redemptions
• Process credit applications and extend complimentary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix
• Provide an entertaining, exciting, and memorable guest experience
