CAD Designer

About This Role

Produce accurate CAD drawings for sales staff, customers, building officials, and field technicians, ensuring compliance and meeting project deadlines. Collaborate with team members to develop functional design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve functional design solutions against various constraints
• Participate in design reviews and work with site surveys
• Produce code compliant drawings and specifications
• Maintain schedules for each project deadline to ensure that project deadlines are maintained and met
• Review and verify drawings in various design modeling software formats
• Detail drawings that will be used for manufacturing purposes

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience using AutoCAD
• Strong AutoCAD foundation & proficient in creating detailed drawings
• Working knowledge of dynamic blocks and corresponding ability to create/expand upon existing library
• Proficiency in PC based computing, Microsoft Office, and use of Windows OS

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or AutoCAD certification preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience using AutoCAD

Nice to Have

• Experience in entertainment and events industry (Live Events, Sporting Events/Venues, Theater)
• Working knowledge of 3D and programs such as 3DS Max preferred
