The Busser is responsible for clearing and resetting tables for guests at restaurants and the pool deck, maintaining overall cleanliness of the pool area, and assisting servers to ensure exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables, ensuring they are prepared for the next seating.
- Ensure all dining room and service areas are kept clean and sanitized.
- Assist with rearranging, moving, and setting up tables and chairs.
- Deliver exceptional service during all guest interactions.
- Carry dishware, silverware, and glassware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Breakdown, sort, and stock all plateware, glassware, silverware, and rollups.
- Work closely with hosts to expedite guest seating.
- Assist servers with pre-bussing and refilling beverages, and delivering food and condiments.
- Assist the pool team with bussing and removing items from the pool deck.
- Complete all assigned side work.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience
- Ability to lift/carry/pull/push/maneuver heavy trays/tables/chairs/objects
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Health Card or other required certification/license
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of restaurant experience in a similar environment
