About This Role

This role primarily provides on-call and system support for hospitality applications, working with business users to formulate requirements and execute short-duration projects. The Administrator II maintains expertise across an application environment or Las Vegas Sands functional vertical to ensure stable and efficient application support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for business functions or configuration of application systems environments in the VCR Application suite
  • Partner with the Product Management team to provide subject matter expertise for determining business requirements
  • Work with the Product Management team and vendors; actively participate in the solution phase in support of business requirements
  • Assist in providing input for project/effort modeling and sizing of solutions
  • Develop functional and technical specifications from business requirements
  • Create solutions including components of systems development, process improvement, organizational change, strategic planning, or policy development
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives concurrently, including application and on-call support, minor projects, major projects, functional requirements, and systems specifications
  • Work independently with users to define concepts under direction of Project Managers and Product Managers
  • Continuously build knowledge base of The Venetian | The Palazzo application suite
  • Provide L2 application and on-call support for The Venetian | The Palazzo application suite independently and self-directed, manage projects of short duration

Requirements

  • 21 years of age
  • Authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration
  • 5 years of experience in business requirements gathering and definition
  • 3 years of experience in Information Technology or working with Information Technology professionals
  • Demonstrated experience in an applicable application environment (e.g., financial systems suite) or expertise across functions within an applicable LVS functional vertical (FOH, BOH, Gaming, Marketing, IT)
  • Demonstrated experience in large major projects, with business analysis skills and the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
  • 5 years of experience in business requirements gathering and definition; 3 years of experience in Information Technology or working with Information Technology professionals.

  • Experience in casino and hospitality application
