Join our team as a Business Systems Analyst, where you will analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions. This role supports system improvements and ensures technology aligns with organizational goals, working closely with stakeholders across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend technological solutions to improve operational performance
- Develop technical use cases, ER diagrams, and process models to support system design and enhancements
- Participate in system analysis, design, and implementation of solutions aligned with business needs
- Provide testing support to ensure system functionalities meet specified requirements
- Perform gap analysis to identify future needs and recommend strategic improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical team members and stakeholders
- Support project management activities for projects of moderate scope and complexity
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the organization
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role
- Practical experience with MS Access, SQL, SOQL/Salesforce, or relational databases
- Ability to apply statistical and research methods to analyze systems issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
- Experience in conducting systems analysis, process modeling, and use case development
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience with testing support, gap analysis, and future state recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role
