The Bus Attendant assists in the care and supervision of students with and without disabilities on a school bus. This role ensures student safety, maintains order, assists with healthcare needs, and helps students board and exit the bus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care and supervision of pupils with/without disabilities
- Assist pupils in boarding and exiting a school bus
- Assure the safety of pupils
- Maintain appropriate order and conduct on the bus
- Provide assistance with pupils’ healthcare issues
- Operate with the driver as a team in the delivery of services
