Buffet Host

About This Role

The Buffet Host operates a cash register, greets and seats guests, handles reservations, and assists with guest inquiries and requests. This role ensures efficient service and accurate transaction processing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register/P.O.S. System and perform cashier functions, ensuring correct change and accounting for transactions
• Greet and seat guests according to established guest service guidelines
• Answer phones and coordinate reservations, special guest requests, and messages
• Respond to guest requests or direct guests to appropriate personnel for assistance
• Answer guest questions regarding menu items, pricing, specials, and promotional events
• Assist servers and bussers when needed

Requirements

• Excellent guest service skills, outgoing personality, friendliness, and enthusiasm
• Comfortable with cash handling skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and leaders
• Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
