Bridge2Life Manager

About This Role

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Bridge2Life Center, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting quality control measures. This role focuses on optimizing communication, staff development, and quality assurance processes to maximize organ donation.

Responsibilities

• Direct orientation, training, and evaluation of new employees.
• Be jointly responsible for staffing and development of B2L staff.
• Evaluate and oversee statistical data for key performance indicators.
• Identify and take action to improve communication activities to facilitate donation.
• Report findings to B2L Director.
• Oversee and review Safety and Training Files for each of the B2LDC staff for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor staff performance including work distribution, personnel, and human resource issues.
• Ensure the team maintains a sense of urgency with calls handled, ensuring donation is maximized.
• Serve as subject matter expert and resource regarding daily B2LC operations according to policy and industry standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DCIDS SOPs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Tissue Banking or related field
• 4+ years of experience of customer service in a high-volume setting
• 3+ years of direct management experience
• CTBS license (CTPC)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong data entry and typing skills
• Knowledge of ACD systems

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related field preferred. Medical background preferred
• 2+ years in Tissue Banking or related field, 4+ years of customer service in high-volume settings, and 3+ years of direct management experience.
