This role involves providing comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and management services to patients with allergic and immunologic disorders as a Board Certified Allergist. The physician will lead clinical decisions, oversee patient care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex allergic and immunologic conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic therapies, immunotherapy, and other interventions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin testing, pulmonary function tests, and laboratory evaluations.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease management, prevention, and treatment adherence.
- Collaborate closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, nursing staff, and administrative teams to coordinate care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuing medical education activities.
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.
- Provide leadership in clinical protocol development and implementation.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Allergy & Immunology
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology
- DEA registration or completion of DEA Waiver
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Prior experience in outpatient allergy and immunology care preferred.
