Bilingual Clinical Psychologist

About This Role

Provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities. Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions, collaborating with facility staff and families to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology
• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist
• Effective oral and written communication in English and Cantonese
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes
• Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology for an accredited institution

Nice to Have

• Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting
• History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders
• Psych or Addictions experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
