About This Role

This role coordinates all aspects of beneficiary selection for North American disaster relief, including identifying and interviewing eligible beneficiaries, maintaining documentation, and guiding them through the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Work with potential NADR beneficiaries to identify best-matched candidates based on need, eligibility, and program criteria
  • Interview applicants and gather pertinent background information including financial history
  • Maintain proper documentation and tracking to ensure successful completion of each project, keeping beneficiary data strictly confidential
  • Communicate and minister to beneficiaries, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting in their requests
  • Travel to field locations to assist with Case Management for Short-Term Needs Programs as needed
  • Take inbound/make outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster, needing assistance with rebuilding their homes, and assist with overflow calls
  • Direct beneficiaries who do not meet our criteria to other agencies or organizations for help

Requirements

  • 2-3 years related experience and/or training
  • Intermediate technology skills
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Highly effective communication and written skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Well organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability in active listening and critical thinking
  • Ability to identify with and understand another person's experience or point of view
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems
  • Fluency in English

Qualifications

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies
