Provide direct one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with autism and other mental/behavioral diagnoses in a home setting, focusing on daily living skills and behavior management.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
- Assist with daily program activities in areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, behavior, and crisis intervention
- Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, dressing, and ambulation
- Collect and document data of behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs facing challenging/aggressive behaviors
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting
- CPI Certification
- RBT certification
- ABA or caregiving experience
