About This Role

Provide direct one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with autism and other mental/behavioral diagnoses in a home setting, focusing on daily living skills and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Assist with daily program activities in areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, behavior, and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, dressing, and ambulation
• Collect and document data of behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs facing challenging/aggressive behaviors
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting
• CPI Certification
• RBT certification
• ABA or caregiving experience
