Provide comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse patient populations, working within a team-based care model at Salud Family Health to support self-management and behavior change.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring patients are fully informed and comfortable with their visit
- Collaborate with medical providers, dental providers, and other staff to deliver integrated health care
- Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment levels in accordance with ethical and legal standards
- Conduct mental health screenings using standardized instruments
- Provide PCP-initiated consultation services, including differential diagnosis and psychoeducation
- Consult with healthcare team members on methods to assist patients with social and emotional difficulties
- Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or equivalent
- Must be licensed by the State of Colorado within 3 years from the date of hire
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or equivalent
- 2 years post-licensure treating patients with psychosocial issues (preferred)
Nice to Have
- 2 years post-licensure treating patients with psychosocial issues
