About This Role

This role is for an entry-level or experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide individualized behavior intervention to patients with autism, focusing on data collection, rapport building, and ethical practice. The RBT will work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support patient progress and maintain a positive clinic culture.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA
  • Collect and record data on patient progress and behavior using an iPad
  • Build rapport and establish a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients and their caregivers
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and update behavior intervention plans
  • Ensure all interventions are applied consistently with ethical and professional standards while maintaining confidentiality of PHI
  • Contribute as a positive team member, supporting the creation and maintenance of an inclusive clinic culture

Requirements

  • Willingness to go above and beyond for teammates and patients
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and sit on the floor for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs
  • Available Monday – Friday from 7:45am – 4:30pm

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any field preferred, Psychology degree helpful
  • Experience as an RBT is not required; entry-level is welcome

Nice to Have

  • Experience as an RBT
  • Experience and a passion for working with children
  • Prior experience in childcare, nanny, daycare teacher, teacher's assistant, SpEd teacher, special education, summer camp counselor, swim teacher, coach, mental health technician, pediatric therapist, pediatric nurse, ABA therapist, behavior therapist
