Barista

About This Role

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages and related food items, ensuring quality and efficient service, while adhering to sanitation and food handling guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
• Enter orders accurately into POS device; accept cash and charge payments
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
• Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
• Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently, and prevent delays in serving lines

Requirements

• Prior barista experience
