Barback Beverage

About This Role

As a Barback, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient bar operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences at Waukegan's gaming and entertainment hub. You will be responsible for stock management, cleanliness, and supporting the bar team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established stock levels by transporting cases of beverages from walk-in coolers to the bar
• Prepare requisitions for beverage supplies as needed
• Ensure a constant supply of ice, glassware, and drink garnishes
• Rotate fresh fruit to maintain quality
• Keep all areas of the bar clean and organized
• Restock kegs in the walk-in coolers and rotate bottled beer in reach-in coolers
• Empty trash bins in the bar area and ensure proper disposal
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team objectives

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of related experience
• Ability to manage high-volume and stressful situations effectively
• Excellent communication skills for providing exceptional guest service
• Comfortable working in a casino environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise
• Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25-30 pounds
• Endurance to walk and stand throughout assigned shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of related experience; prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.

Nice to Have

• Bilingualism is preferred
• Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting
