Bar Back

About This Role

The Bar Back is responsible for proactively maintaining and restocking bar supplies, including ice, beer, liquor, and garnishes, to ensure bartenders have continuous access to necessary items. This role requires constant awareness of inventory and the ability to maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities

• Fill and maintain ice wells for bartenders
• Restock beer and liquor as needed
• Change kegs promptly
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock all garnishes for bartenders
• Maintain constant awareness of bar inventory to anticipate needs
• Help maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restock and organize beer coolers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
