Bar Back

About This Role

Support bartenders by ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked, organized, and readily available, anticipating needs before they arise. This role is crucial for maintaining an efficient and clean bar operation.

Responsibilities

• Fill and maintain ice wells for bartenders
• Restock beer and liquor as needed
• Change kegs
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock all garnishes for bartenders
• Maintain awareness of bar inventory and anticipate restocking needs
• Help maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restock and organize beer coolers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in fine dining or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
