The Baker will contribute to the production of food at Zinc Cafe & Market, demonstrating an eagerness to learn and collaborate with the kitchen team. This role requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment and consistently striving to provide a welcoming experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Display working knowledge of basic baking, prep preparation, and kitchen equipment use
- Follow company recipes, portion controls, presentation specifications, and prep lists
- Consistently ensure the prep/baking station remains clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and embody an environment of teamwork
- Demonstrate an eagerness to refine skills and desire to learn and grow
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle varying levels of business volume with composure and a positive attitude
- Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
- Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses
Requirements
- Basic food, kitchen equipment, and prepping knowledge

Qualifications
- Experience in a prep position is a plus, but not required.
