About This Role

Join Fresh Baguette as a full-time Baker to create delicious baked goods and engage with customers in a fast-paced environment. This role involves baking, cashier duties, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and prompt customer service
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently at the cash register
• Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience
• Bake a variety of breads and baked goods to perfection
• Prepare products for the next day’s baking schedule
• Organize and maintain the freezer and fridge areas
• Pack away delivery items and ensure proper storage
• Set up the bread display to ensure an inviting presentation
• Clean and sanitize the baking station after use
• Ensure compliance with store safety, sanitation, and food storage standards
• Make and serve baked goods, sandwiches, salads, breads, and pastries with attention to detail and care
• Pay close attention to product displays and maintain cleanliness throughout the store
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Open availability including weekends
• Ability to work busy peak times such as Holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to work
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment is required. Experience working at a café, bakery, or in hospitality is a plus.
