About This Role

This role provides leadership, functional expertise, and strategic planning for Lincoln Financial Investments' mutual fund trusts, overseeing financial/regulatory reporting, investment valuation, and service provider management. The position involves substantive coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and provide subject matter expertise to management and stakeholders on financial reporting information and trends
  • Anticipate and proactively provide strategies/solutions to complex financial reporting problems
  • Develop and/or manage budget/expenses for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing change management
  • Direct and evaluate departmental performance to meet and/or exceed standards
  • Direct and/or participate in complex projects by providing actionable financial reporting information
  • Direct the highly complex analysis and validation of financial reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Direct, establish and implement priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure departmental results
  • Identify and direct strategic process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality
  • Lead and drive continuous improvements of team capabilities to produce accurate financial reporting information

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • 10+ Years of direct mutual fund administration experience in roles with increasing levels of accountability / responsibility and span of control
  • Extensive Fund Accounting background including closed-end funds
  • Accounting experience with leverage facilities
  • Experience in valuation methodologies of private asset classes
  • Board presenting experience

Qualifications

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ Years of direct mutual fund administration experience in roles with increasing levels of accountability / responsibility and span of control
