Automotive Repair Store Manager

About This Role

Manage the overall financial and operational performance of an automotive repair store by ensuring outstanding guest service, maximizing sales and profitability, and developing team members. Be accountable for operational efficiency and human resource management within the market.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain guest services, ensuring the management team upholds store standards, possesses solid product knowledge, conducts call backs, and meets time commitments.
• Handle escalated customer complaints effectively.
• Set clear expectations and communicate regularly with employees on job responsibilities, goals, training, and development.
• Coach and counsel employees to ensure accountability for job responsibilities, training, and goals.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures through regular meetings and store audits.
• Conduct performance evaluations for all employees at regular intervals.
• Analyze and measure business trends to develop and implement plans maximizing sales.
• Meet or exceed sales and profit targets as provided in the Store Margin Statement.
• Write up customers in the POS system and answer phone calls.
• Manage inventory control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience in auto repair shop management or equivalent automotive industry experience
• Previous experience managing and coaching team members
• Knowledge of business development and strategy implementation
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience of sales in an auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position
