Automotive Technician

About This Role

This Automotive Technician / Mechanic role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, and various automotive repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate certifications and experience levels
• Perform work as outlined on Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order efficiently and accurately
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including Store Manager, Service Consultants, and customers
• Recommend necessary services to maintain customer vehicle running condition and properly document recommendations
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager
• Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renew expiring certifications

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work Monday - Saturday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Minimum of one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience/training
