About This Role

Perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process, reviewing medical records and conducting specific audiometric tests.

Responsibilities

  • Review Veterans' medical records uploaded into a computer portal
  • Conduct Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test
  • Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal
  • Assess 4-6 Veterans per day on average
  • Perform clinical assessments without prescribing medical treatments or devices

Requirements

  • Au.D from an ASHA Accredited school
  • Current license as an Audiologist
  • Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

Qualifications

  • Au.D. from an ASHA Accredited school
