Auctioneer II

About This Role

An Auctioneer II manages the entire bidding process for assigned lanes, presenting objects for bidding, describing items, announcing bids, and declaring the winning bidder.

Responsibilities

• Describe vehicles and provide information to encourage bidding
• Continuously ask for bids, stimulating buying desire of bidders
• Close sales to the highest bidder
• Travel to other auctions as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of experience in Auctioneering or relevant degree/certification
• Strong, confident speaking voice
• Passion for sales
• Self-confidence and certitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3 years of experience in Auctioneering or Any level degree; or certification beyond HS diploma/GED + up to 1 year experience
• 3 years of experience in Auctioneering or up to 1 year with a degree/certification beyond HS diploma/GED

Nice to Have

• License from an Auction School
