About This Role

Perform duties related to filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments. This role involves triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments
  • Fill/dispense oral and IV medications
  • Triage patient orders
  • Maintain the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire, Or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Entry level

Nice to Have

  • Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
  • Inpatient experience
  • Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
