This Associate will work on high-stakes patent, trade-secret, copyright, and complex technology litigation, gaining hands-on trial experience and significant responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on intellectual property matters to clients
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements related to intellectual property
- Represent clients in intellectual property disputes and negotiations
- Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and strategies
- Assist in the preparation and filing of patent and trademark applications
- Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for protecting intellectual property assets
- Stay updated on changes in intellectual property laws and regulations
- Work closely with other legal professionals to deliver high-quality client service
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in IP or high-end technology litigation
- Excellent academic credentials and strong written advocacy skills
- Large law firm or sophisticated technology litigation experience
- Admission to the Bar in the chosen office's state (CA preferred)
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science strongly preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in IP or high-end technology litigation
Nice to Have
- Federal clerkship experience (including 2026 completions)
