Join a Los Angeles-based plaintiff’s personal injury law firm to advocate for injured clients, managing a caseload from filing to settlement and providing outstanding legal representation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters in litigation
- Conduct case evaluation, legal research, and liability analysis
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide case updates and explain case strategy
- Draft and respond to discovery, prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement demands
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
- Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, investigators, and medical providers
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
- Maintain accurate case notes and follow firm procedures and deadlines
- Prepare cases for trial and assist senior attorneys with trial-related tasks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Personal Injury Law
- Ability to multitask on numerous assignments and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to draft, format, and write Motions, Responses, and various other pleadings with little or no supervision
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Personal Injury Law
